Information Stored in the App

When you use Home Maintenance Log, information you enter or attach is stored locally on your device. Depending on how you use the App, this may include:

• Home asset details (such as name, category, brand, model, serial number, and notes)
• Maintenance records
• Repair records
• Home tasks and related schedules
• Warranty information
• Expense or cost information you record (for example, amounts tied to maintenance or repairs)
• Optional photos and documents you choose to attach

No account or login is required. There is no cloud sync and no developer-operated backend that receives this information from the App.

Photos and Documents

You may optionally add photos or documents—such as receipts, warranty papers, invoices, or manuals. If you do, those files are stored in the App’s private storage on your device.

Home Maintenance Log does not upload your photos or documents to our servers.

Notifications

The App can show local notifications to remind you about upcoming or overdue maintenance, home tasks, and warranty dates. These reminders are scheduled on your device.

To schedule reminders accurately, the App may use your device’s timezone locally. Notifications are not sent through a remote push service operated by us.

You can control notification permission through your device settings and the App’s reminder settings.

Information We Do Not Collect

Home Maintenance Log does not:

• Require an account or login
• Sync your data to the cloud or a developer backend
• Upload your user data, photos, or documents to our servers
• Track your GPS or device location
• Access your contacts
• Show advertising
• Use analytics services
• Use crash-reporting services
• Use advertising identifiers or tracking technologies
• Send remote push notifications

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts.

Data Storage and Security

Your information remains on your device in the App’s local storage and private file storage. Because the data stays with you, we do not maintain a cloud copy of your Home Maintenance Log records.

Keeping information on your device reduces exposure to remote breaches of a developer database. However, no method of storing information on a device can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Protection of your data also depends on your device security settings, access controls, and how you share files with other apps.

Sharing with Other Applications

You may choose to open a locally stored document using another application installed on your device. Home Maintenance Log does not upload those files when you do this.

Once you open a file in another application, that application’s own privacy policy and practices apply to any further use or handling of the file.

Data Deletion

Because your information is stored locally, you control it on your device. You can remove locally stored information through the App where deletion is supported (for example, by deleting individual records or attachments), or by uninstalling the App.

There is no cloud account and no developer-side database containing your Home Maintenance Log data for us to delete on your behalf.

Children's Privacy

Home Maintenance Log is intended for general use in managing home maintenance information. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not operate accounts or cloud services that gather children’s personal information through the App.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time if the App’s features or practices change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this page periodically so you stay informed about how Home Maintenance Log handles information.
